Job Description:
The Immuno Oncology group is seeking a talented, motivated, and flexible Research Associate Contractor to perform discovery research in the area of Cancer Immunology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the hands-on execution of in vivo immunopharmacology studies that utilize mouse tumor models to study the anti-tumor activity of novel immuno-oncology agents.

The candidate will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively as part of an in vivo pharmacology team.

In addition, the candidate will contribute to experimental design, independent data analysis and interpretation, and the generation of internal reports within project timelines.

The candidate will adhere to good laboratory practices and follow all safety guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

1. Drive drug discovery projects in Immuno Oncology by designing and conducting in vivo pharmacology studies in murine tumor models.
2. Apply PK/PD relationship concepts to optimize the dose & schedule for novel biological and small molecule agents.
3. Keep abreast of cutting-edge in vivo models that can be applied to concept discovery and drug candidate characterization.
4. Focus on immune readouts (e.g., FACS-based immunophenotyping, T cell activation assays, ELISA) that can be incorporated into an early clinical development setting.
5. Follow and promote safety instructions and regulations according to Quality Management Standards.

Qualifications

Education: Masters or Bachelor degree in Oncology, Immunology, or a closely related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of academic or industrial research experience.

Fluency in written and spoken English required.
