Qualifications

• PhD in anthropology, sociology, public health or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of related experience post-degree leading or directing complex research projects; 10+ years preferred.
• Expertise in qualitative methods and integration with mixed-methods.
• Strong track record of peer-reviewed publications and scientific writing.
• Ability to work independently with latitude and decision-making authority.
• Supervisory and financial management experience; ability to manage budgets and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead major components of large, complex studies from design through dissemination.
• Develop and refine research questions and analytic plans; propose feasible options.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions with minimal supervision.
• Develop qualitative protocols and manage interview/focus group procedures.
• Design and execute qualitative workstreams and manage data security.
• Lead codebook development; perform thematic/ grounded analysis; produce analytic memos.
• Assist in survey development and descriptive/inferential analyses; integrate findings into narratives.
• Co-author manuscripts and dissemination products; present to diverse audiences.
• Build partnerships with collaborators and community stakeholders; support dissemination.
