Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin seeks a Social Science/Humanities Research Associate V (Senior Research Administrator) to manage NIH-funded projects within the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health.

In this 40-hour, exempt, grant-funded role, you will coordinate multi-site project tasks, IRB activities, sub-award processes, and NIH progress reporting while supporting investigators and staff toward shared research objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years related experience or master's degree with 6 years related experience.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Engage and participate in project management across a multi-site center grant to define core tasks, assign deadlines, identify responsible parties, and monitor progress accordingly.
• Coordinate and attend research and community meetings, including assisting in developing agendas, documenting decisions and tasks, and facilitating collaboration.
• Coordinate and support the dissemination of research and quality improvement findings through briefs, newsletters, updates of the website, and coordination of manuscript preparation or presentations.
• Coordinate and support IRB submissions, including modifications, renewals, adverse event reports, and reliance agreements; develop policy documents for consistency.
• Coordinate annual update of project sub-award documentation and track budget expenditures and invoicing with responsible staff.
• Provide timely NIH reporting assistance with enrollment reporting and progress reports.
• Additional duties as assigned.
