Job summary

The Intersect Group is recruiting a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting in Atlanta. This role leads technical accounting research, develops memos and policies, and partners with Finance, Tax, Legal, FP&A, and auditors. You will supervise two staff and deliver training on accounting standards.

Requirements include 7+ years of accounting, CPA (or pursuing), a Bachelor's in Accounting, and deep US GAAP expertise with public company exposure; M&A experience is preferred.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative corporate accounting team that values technical expertise, professional development, and long term career growth. **Role Summary** **The Senior Manager, Technical Accounting** will serve as a key technical accounting resource, leading complex accounting research and advising stakeholders across the organization on challenging US GAAP matters. This role combines deep technical accounting expertise with leadership responsibility, including the development of two accounting professionals. **The Senior Manager** will lead accounting research, develop technical memos and policies, support complex transactions, and partner extensively with senior leaders across Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and other corporate functions.
