Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group, based in Arlington, seeks a seasoned journalist to produce impactful stories with strong leads and diverse sourcing. You will break exclusives, cultivate sources, and develop ideas while navigating federal and state legislative, regulatory, and judicial processes.

You will mentor junior reporters, collaborate with multimedia and graphics teams, and remain a trusted resource within the newsroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with coursework in English or journalism preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in journalism, including at least one year reporting on legal, tax, or government topics.

What you will do:

You need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree with coursework in English or journalism preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in journalism, including at least one year reporting on legal, tax, or government topics.

Compensation Range: $94,000.00-$115,830.00 Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process. Salary determination will be determined based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, demonstrated skills related to the requirements of the role, education, certifications, and geographic location.
