Responsibilities
Inventory Planning & Execution

  • Monitor sales trends to improve system forecast accuracy; adjust system-generated forecasts based on real-time sales insights and wholesale customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with customer managers and buyers to incorporate account-specific and regional demand signals into replenishment plans.
Promotional & Seasonal Inventory Planning
  • Create effective inventory strategies for major promotional periods, holidays, and peak sales events across both retail and wholesale channels.
  • Ensure appropriate inventory coverage tailored to differing promotional rhythms and fulfillment models.

  • Propose and implement corrective actions to improve inventory turns, reduce holding costs, and enhance availability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DCs, suppliers, stores, customer managers, buyers, marketing) to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Lead or support lean projects aimed at simplifying the replenishment process and enhancing responsiveness to channel-specific demand.
Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR)
  • Promote and enhance Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) initiatives with suppliers to improve service levels and planning accuracy across both retail and wholesale supply chains.
Qualifications

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Works closely with multiple teams (e.g. suppliers, DCs, stores, buyers, marketing) to ensure smooth operations from order creation to delivery.
