Job Description

This position supports the Operations Department by maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure efficient operation. Responsibilities include performing repairs and maintenance across various trades such as machine repair, electrical, and sheet metal fabrication, using hand and power tools. The role involves testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery with the aid of blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications. Collaboration with management and production supervision is essential to meet production goals and ensure timely, safe, and responsible completion of maintenance tasks.

Essential Functions

• Follow safety practices and perform preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform repairs on equipment, utilities, and systems as assigned.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting, including PLCs and mechanical repairs.
• Determine necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Train maintenance personnel for optimal productivity.
• Maintain manuals, warranties, and tool inventories.
• Review work orders for proper documentation.
• Ensure safety equipment and procedures are used correctly.
• Demonstrate initiative and uphold high ethical standards.
• Adhere to attendance, punctuality, and dress code policies.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications
