Job summary

Ricoh USA, Inc. in Duluth, GA is seeking a Senior Rental Sales Representative to coordinate weekly and monthly rental agreements for copiers, printers, and fax equipment while building relationships with new and existing customers.

Qualifications

Senior Rental Sales Representative Position Summary

The Senior Rental Sales Representative is responsible for coordinating weekly and monthly rental agreements for copiers, printers, and fax equipment while developing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing customers. This role focuses on driving rental revenue, managing customer accounts, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the rental lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify new rental sales opportunities within an assigned geographic territory.
  • Develop and present rental proposals, including pricing, logistics, and value-added services.
  • Negotiate rental agreements and close sales with new and existing customers.
  • Manage and grow an existing rental customer base while increasing revenue and profitability.
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries, installations, and removals.
  • Partner with billing teams to ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing.
  • Monitor accounts receivable (AR) reports and manage outstanding balances through collection activities.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and performance targets.
  • Build relationships with prospective customers using a variety of prospecting strategies and techniques.
  • Provide comprehensive sales coverage for non-Ricoh opportunity accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketplace partners to educate stakeholders and drive customer referrals.
  • Conduct account assessments and business analyses to identify operational needs, workflow inefficiencies, and document management challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by leveraging product and industry expertise to recommend solutions that improve productivity, streamline processes, and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records within the designated CRM/CSR system.
  • Stay informed about competitors, including their products, pricing strategies, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Develop relationships with third-party organizations to generate additional rental business opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • One to three years of sales experience required; industry-related sales experience preferred.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.

  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, strategies, and processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands
  • Frequent travel within the assigned region is required.
  • Work is typically performed in an office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, temperature, and noise conditions.
  • Responsibilities require the ability to interpret, analyze, and apply complex information, data, and instructions.
  • Regularly prepares, presents, and communicates detailed information to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Position is primarily sedentary but may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting or carrying items up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires moderate manual dexterity and routine use of office equipment, including computers, keyboards, calculators, and other business tools.
  • Requires effective hand-eye coordination and the ability to perform basic physical tasks associated with equipment handling.
