Job summary

The Home Depot in Spokane, WA is seeking a Lead Rental Technician to perform skilled repairs on light construction equipment, including skid steers, chippers, trenchers and mini-excavators, across store locations and customer sites within the region.

You will train store associates on safe operation, deploy new equipment, and maintain the rental fleet while ensuring safety and compliance with DOT and company standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to diagnose and complete advanced mechanical repairs (engines, hydraulics, electrical).
• Ability to read and understand mechanical/repair manuals and parts manuals.
• Valid driver's license in the state applying.
• Experience delivering superior customer service with handheld tech.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 15%.

• Deploy new equipment to stores, PDIs, and train staff on safe operation.
• Maintain and repair rental equipment fleet, manage parts inventory, and document work.
