Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer for a fully remote role focused on building design. You will design safe, efficient structural systems for a range of buildings and work with architects and other disciplines from your own location.

With a minimum of 7 years' experience and professional registration (Pr.Eng./ECSA), you will use advanced software to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Professional registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) with ECSA is essential.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural design with a strong portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various building types using state-of-the-art software.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculation reports for construction.
• Collaborate closely with architectural teams and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural designs seamlessly.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
• Review contractor submittals and respond to RFIs during construction.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and clients remotely.
