Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

We are seeking a remote Senior Structural Design Engineer to join a leading organization in the building systems industry. This role focuses on performing structural analysis and design for materials in compliance with building codes, steel specifications, and internal design practices. The ideal candidate will deliver structurally sound, cost‑effective designs on schedule and handle moderately to highly complex projects. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH METAL BUILDINGS

• Perform structural design of primary and secondary framing and connections for building orders.
• Stay current and proficient in AISC, AISI material specifications, ASCE 7, IBC, MBMA Building Systems Manual, and MBS software.
• Maintain expertise in various city, county, state, and international building codes.
• Demonstrate advanced computer literacy in design software, recognized as a super user in one or more tools.
• Document engineering designs and customer interface information clearly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with drafting teams on shop fabrication and field erection details.
• Ensure effective communication with engineering and drafting departments throughout project lifecycle.
• Review drawings to confirm design intent is accurately implemented.
