Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of SRE, DevOps, or production engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java with automation.
• Deep Linux experience at scale, networking, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and container workloads.
• Observability tooling knowledge: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK, or Datadog.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines for infra and apps.
• Solid understanding of distributed system design and failure semantics.
• Leadership in incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine SLOs/SLIs and error budgets for critical services.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews to drive improvements.
• Design monitoring, logging, and tracing strategies with modern tooling.
• Build on-call processes, runbooks, and escalation paths.
• Automate operational toil with production-grade tooling in Python/Go/Bash.
• Architect and operate large Kubernetes clusters and container workloads.
• Design CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, canaries, and feature flags.
• Collaborate with development teams to bake reliability into design.
• Strengthen platform resiliency with chaos engineering and robust failovers.
• Drive security posture improvements with patch management and hardening.
