The ideal candidate has 10+ years in mechanical design and leadership, deep CAD/CAE expertise (SolidWorks, ANSYS, COMSOL), and a strong grasp of materials, manufacturing (incl. additive), and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex mechanical systems and products from concept to final release.
• Conduct advanced engineering analyses, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to ensure optimal performance and robustness.
• Develop detailed design documentation, including schematics, P&IDs, 3D models, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate effectively with remote cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and product managers, ensuring seamless integration and project progression.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and ensuring adherence to best practices in a virtual setting.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance product capabilities and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical design, product development, and engineering leadership.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced CAD/CAE software suites (e.g., SolidWorks Simulation, ANSYS, COMSOL).
• Deep understanding of material science, manufacturing processes (including additive manufacturing), and international engineering standards.
• Proven ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and deliver exceptional results in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong capacity for virtual teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
