Job summary

Branch, a remote-first insurer, seeks a senior Financial Reporting Manager to own statutory reporting end-to-end and to collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Legal and Insurance teams for audit readiness and regulatory alignment. This role is a senior IC with no direct reports and focuses on accuracy and scalability of finance operations.

You will drive NAIC filings, RBC analyses, and develop internal controls as Branch scales, while supporting data availability and regulatory requests across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in P&C insurance finance or accounting with GAAP and statutory reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of financial reporting, controls, and insurance accounting.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Document and maintain financial processes for accurate reporting.
• Analyze month-over-month changes and report improvements to leadership.
• Coordinate with Data Office to define data controls for reporting.
• Develop audit-ready documentation for key processes and controls.
• Lead preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements and NAIC filings.
• Support internal control testing and onboarding for future audit needs.
• Collaborate with Insurance and Compliance on data/regulatory requests.
• Assist special projects to improve transparency and compliance.
