The Senior Remote Installation Project Manager will manage the entire job construction process, from technical measurements through installation and completion, ensuring complete customer satisfaction including applying sound business judgement and accepted measurement techniques to produce installable windows and doors for every opening. The Remote installation manager will ensure all projects have been sold and priced in a manner commensurate with company policies and financial objectives. They may also reject or approve the viability of each project based on its overall contribution to business objectives. The Senior Remote Installation Project Manager will oversee daily operations of the BORO remote team and collaborate with senior leadership to ensure effective remote program operation and growth.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and receive calls on Pre-Installation Inspection line. Answer calls in a timely fashion.
  • Assess over phone and video if remote measure can be performed and either perform remote measure via video conference or assign an onsite PII based upon location, customers availability and measure schedule.
  • Primary accountability for communication and prompt resolution of any project placed into Job-In-Process (JIP) status, including directing work activities of installation subcontractors, supply chain, scheduling and warehouse resources.
  • Determine workflow, project complexity and identifications of appropriate skills necessary to complete a project.
  • Must maintain 98% accuracy on all measures; you are expected to maintain this accuracy level on both units measured and jobs measured.
  • Utilize Specification and Technical Information manual to ensure adherence to min-max sizes and correct material listing for installation.
  • Proactively recognize situations that could impact customer expectations, job costs and/or required residential building codes. Create documented solutions when forecasted issues arise.
  • Submit structural issues to engineering for design and approval. Follow up with Production Manager as needed to ensure timely turnaround of plans.
  • Break down all required materials for successful first-time completion of all jobs measured.
  • Serve as primary liaison between sales and customers. Provide solutions to ensure successful first-time completion with adherence to local building codes.
  • Dependable and punctual with appointments, documentation, and commitments
  • All job paperwork to be turned in for order with 24-48 hours depending on location. Exceptions made for orders on measure summary or those requiring engineering or corporate design approval (NSPR & SPR) these issues must also be documented within 24-48 hours depending on location.
  • Provide support for the installers. service techs, warehouse team, service or operations when needed.
  • Approve PTO requests submitted by remote IPM staff.
  • Coordinate with leadership to develop, implement, and modify as needed strategic programs and practices aimed at increasing overall remote measuring effectiveness.
  • Compile monthly data reports for submission to leadership.
  • Calculate monthly remote IPM bonus spreadsheets.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Language Ability:

Computer Skills:

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, SalesForce, rForce, rSuite, and Teams.
