Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Hospital Contracting Strategist/Negotiator to initiate, negotiate, and execute physician, hospital, and provider contracts.

You will report to the Director, Provider Contracting and lead complex negotiations with hospital systems, Medicare Advantage, and value-based arrangements. Required is a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in hospital negotiation within Medicare, plus 5+ years in network management and provider contract leadership.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years hospital negotiation experience in Medicare.
• Lead negotiations for hospital/health system agreements with reimbursement terms.
• 5+ years in progressive network management including hospital contracting.
• Experience negotiating managed care contracts with hospital systems.
• Analyze and communicate financial impact of terms and rates.
• Interpret hospital contract language accurately.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Lead negotiations for hospital and health system agreements, including reimbursement and terms.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Network Management and Operations to ensure contracts are sound.
• Communicate contract terms and reimbursement rates to providers.
• Analyze financial impact of contracts and terms.
• Maintain contracts and documentation in tracking systems.
• Identify and recruit providers based on network needs.
