Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Healthcare Quality Engineer to drive quality assurance across complex healthcare applications. You will lead testing efforts, build and enhance automation frameworks, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to deliver scalable, high-quality software for critical healthcare processes in a remote-capable role.

You will collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders, design test strategies, perform API and backend testing, and ensure quality

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software quality engineering experience including manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on test automation framework development with the listed tools.
• Experience with API, database, and performance testing.
• Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills for data validation.
• Experience CI/CD integration and GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end quality engineering activities across projects.
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks and suites.
• Execute automated and manual tests across functional, API, database, mobile, and cross-browser.
• Collaborate with product, development, and stakeholders throughout SDLC.
• Identify risks and drive automation best practices.
