Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Remote Liability Claims Examiner to handle high-exposure general liability claims for a dedicated client. The role requires experience in developing defense strategies, partnering with clients and legal counsel, and driving complex claims toward resolution.

The ideal candidate will have five years of general liability claims management experience, a bachelor’s degree, and be comfortable working remotely within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Five (5) years of General liability claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience handling high-exposure claims, complex coverage scenarios, and litigation.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and acts on reports and forms; responds to inquiries and communicates resolutions.
• Handles high-end General Liability cases with serious injuries and/or complex coverage scenarios.
• Gathers documents, coordinates with clients and local counsel, and advances cases toward resolution.
• Identifies settlements and prepares action plans in coordination with stakeholders.
