Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to define and lead the architecture of our enterprise data platform, spanning ingestion, storage, processing, governance, and consumption layers. The role drives the strategic direction of data infrastructure, sets data modeling and lifecycle standards, and partners with data engineering, analytics, ML and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IS or related field.
• 8+ years in data engineering with architecture experience.
• Deep expertise on at least two major data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Strong knowledge of lakehouse, table formats, and streaming systems.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Flink, or Kafka at production scale.
• Strong data modeling across dimensional, normalized, and data vault patterns.
• Experience implementing governance, lineage, and catalog capabilities.
• Solid grasp of cloud platforms, networking, identity, and cost optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; leadership of large programs.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture for the enterprise data platform.
• Establish standards for data modeling, partitioning, and storage organization.
• Architect lakehouse, warehouse, and streaming patterns using major platforms.
• Design end-to-end data pipelines balancing latency, cost, and reliability.
• Lead governance, lineage, and catalog tool integration.
• Define security architecture including access controls and masking.
• Partner with ML, BI, and product teams for platform needs.
• Enforce data contracts and data product principles across teams.
• Lead architecture reviews and guide cross-team proposals.
• Drive cost optimization and capacity planning for the data estate.
• Design disaster recovery and multi-region HA strategies.
• Mentor engineers on standards and best practices.
• Produce architecture artifacts and reference patterns.
• Stay current with data platform research and vendor offerings.
