Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
• 2 years of outpatient/ambulatory care coding or inpatient acute care coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for coding policy management.
• Serve as liaison for data collection and reporting requirements.
• Integrate data collected at the Medical Center.

ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding knowledge

Supervisory experience

Revenue Cycle Management knowledge

Education

Associate of Science in Health Information Science

Certified Coder Specialist (CCS)

Certified Procedural Coder (CPC)
