Qualifications

• Leadership experience of three or more years in STD/LTD product and claims management.
• Ability to manage day-to-day execution and projects to achieve business goals.
• Associate degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Previous supervisory experience and ability to prioritize and assign work.
• Advanced computer skills using Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Technical proficiency with data, technology, and business tools to foster innovation and efficiency.
• Strong analytical thinking and business acumen.
• Creative agility to address complex business and technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication among Customer Care, Administrative, and Clinical teams including client companies and providers.
• Ensure legal compliance and confidentiality in employee and client communications.
• Review documentation to support claim approvals/denials and respond to audit requests.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for Alight's Leave of Absence programs and advise on policies and client requirements.
• Lead a virtual team, define roles, and build talent to support high-quality culture.
• Provide ongoing client support with diagnostic skills to identify root causes of issues.
• Monitor team performance against KPIs and ensure service guarantees are met.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, workload distribution, and staff development.
• Respond to client/internal inquiries per standards and participate in meetings.
