Job summary

Random Bit LLC seeks a Senior AWS Solution Architect to lead development teams building cloud-native solutions on AWS. You will prototype architectures, establish adoption patterns, and guide teams with high-quality Python and JavaScript code in cloud-native contexts.

Ideal candidates have deep AWS experience, strong trade-off reasoning, and the ability to coach engineers while ensuring secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Background in large-system application development and design with proven experience in cloud components.
• This position is NOT meant for the cloud Infrastructure or DevOps architect.
• Ability to explain trade-offs during solution design and justify service choices.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer 100% AWS cloud-native application components
• Develop solution prototypes to demonstrate suitability and interoperability of chosen components, and to establish patterns for adoption by development team members
• In the context of solution prototypes, write high-quality, efficient code in Python and JavaScript without guidance
• Provide ongoing guidance and coaching to development team members
• Provide AWS cloud-native subject-matter expertise to developers
• Conduct code reviews and feedback on implementation patterns
• Capture implementation patterns into development standards and architecture best practices, as needed
