Job summary

TEEMA is seeking an experienced Liability Claims Adjuster to manage automobile, bodily injury, and general liability claims in a fully remote role serving clients nationwide from the Philadelphia area.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of auto and GL claims experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently across jurisdictions. Multistate licenses are a plus, and familiarity with litigation and coverage issues is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automobile and general liability claims experience.
• Experience with litigation management, coverage issues, liability investigations, and claim valuation.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to independently manage a busy caseload.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve automobile, bodily injury, and general liability claims.
• Review policies and interpret applicable coverage.
• Manage litigated and non-litigated claims across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assess liability, damages, and overall claim exposure.
• Establish and continually evaluate accurate reserves.
• Develop settlement strategies and communicate recommendations.
• Coordinate with outside counsel, investigators, claimants, and service providers.
• Prepare detailed loss reports covering liability, damages, coverage, and exposure.
• Identify subrogation and risk-transfer opportunities.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation, diaries, correspondence, and evaluations.
• Provide responsive, professional service throughout the claims process.
