Job summary

Tala is seeking an Analytics Platforms Architect to be the senior technical leader responsible for making Tala’s data easier to trust, understand, access, and use across the company. This highly hands-on role defines architecture and direction while building alongside engineers.

You’ll own semantic layer architecture, governance of business metrics, and scalable data infrastructure powering analytics, AI tools, and applications.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related technical fields.
• Experience designing and building large-scale data platforms and infrastructure.
• Strong data modeling, pipelines, and production systems skills.
• Ability to write production code and work alongside engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define technical architecture for Tala’s semantic layer and shared analytics platform.
• Establish governed, consistent business metrics across markets and teams.
• Model, store, access, and consume data for BI tools, notebooks, apps, and AI agents.
• Balance scalability, reliability, governance, and regulatory requirements in architecture.
• Lead platform initiatives through delivery and completion.
