Placements24 seeks an Aerospace Structural Design Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design, analyze, and optimize primary and secondary structures for advanced aircraft components using CATIA/SolidWorks and FEA tools.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in aerospace structural design, a Master’s or PhD, strong knowledge of composites, aluminum, and titanium, and experience with FAR Part 25. Excellent communication is essential for remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in aerospace engineering with a focus on structures.
• 7+ years of experience in aerospace structural design and analysis.
• Expertise in CATIA/SolidWorks and FEA (NASTRAN/ANSYS).
• In-depth knowledge of composites, aluminum, and titanium.
• Strong aeroelasticity, fracture mechanics, and fatigue analysis.
• Familiarity with FAR Part 25, CS 25, and related standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize aircraft structural components.
• Perform detailed stress, fatigue, and vibration analyses.
