Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Senior Field Service Technician to support ACIS substations across the United States. You will perform pre‑commissioning, start‑up, and ongoing maintenance while diagnosing complex issues and providing long‑term operational support for utility and industrial customers.

You will lead safety on-site, interpret diagrams, train junior staff, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams. Travel is 75% with a remote work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of field experience in electrical power systems.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-commissioning tests and start-up for ACIS substations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues, document RCA, and support 24/7 hotline.
• Read SLDs and installation procedures to ensure accurate work.
