Job summary

Form Energy, a Berkeley-based energy storage leader, is hiring a Senior Reliability Engineer to improve the reliability and lifetime of iron-air packs and deployed systems. You will join the Systems Reliability team, lead reliability test development, and help shape reliability across multiple subsystems.

Relocation assistance is available. The role emphasizes design for reliability, safety, and cross-functional collaboration with outdoor power electronics focus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/ Reliability Engineering or related field.
• 3-7 years of industry experience.
• Experience developing tests to evaluate reliability of electrical/mechanical systems.
• Experience with outdoor power electronics or control panels and UL 508A evaluation is a plus.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability test development for pack subsystems.
• Define reliability requirements and validation roadmaps.
• Design and execute experiments to uncover failure mechanisms.
• Champion safety and cross-functional coordination.
