Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Sr. Reliability Engineer - Mechanical Integrity to lead the site’s Mechanical Integrity Program at the Anesthesia Manufacturing Site.

You will collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, EHS, Quality, and Corporate partners to drive asset reliability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The role requires 8+ years in pharma manufacturing, 5+ years in reliability, and strong knowledge of RCM, FMEA, RCA, and process safety management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years in regulated manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years in reliability engineering and maintenance.
• Experience leading Mechanical Integrity programs and asset reliability initiatives.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continually improve the site's Mechanical Integrity Program.
• Develop reliability strategies to support plant performance.
• Ensure activities align with production schedules and priorities.
• Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could impact safety, compliance, production, or operations.
• Conduct equipment failure investigations and RCA.
• Lead Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives and risk-based maintenance strategies.
• Utilize FMEA, condition monitoring, predictive and preventive maintenance to improve asset performance.
• Analyze maintenance data and downtime trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support inspections, audits, and regulatory assessments.
