Job summary

KAYGEN is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support imaging platform projects in a fast-paced R&D environment. You will manage reliability programs, design and execute tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product robustness throughout development.

This role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years in reliability, proficiency with DFMEA/life data analysis, and willingness to work in a BSL2 lab. Onsite 5 days a week; competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline required.
• 5+ years reliability engineering experience or data analysis experience; advanced degree may substitute.
• Knowledge of reliability fundamentals and life data modeling.
• Applies technical standards and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in BSL2 lab
• Willingness to prepare blood samples for testing (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor multiple reliability projects.
• Provide reliability risk assessments to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Create and implement test plans to mitigate design risks.
• Facilitate FMEA discussions to evaluate technical risk.
• Use internal and external resources to complete test plans.
• Record and manage large amounts of test data.
• Analyze test data and inform reliability decisions.
• Troubleshoot failures and reliability issues.
• Execute root cause investigations and document findings.
• Guide corrective actions and validation.
• Escalate top issues with clear updates.
• Provide engineering input to ensure robust designs.
