Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years reliability engineering experience or equivalent data-analysis experience (2 years may be substituted with an advanced degree).
• Knowledge of reliability fundamentals (life predictions, life modeling, RCAs, environmental and accelerated testing).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a BSL2 lab and to prepare blood samples for testing (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor multiple reliability projects.
• Provide reliability risk assessments to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Create and implement test plans to mitigate risks in new designs.
• Facilitate and direct discussions to evaluate technical risk via FMEA.
• Leverage resources to complete reliability tests.
• Record and manage large volumes of test data.
• Analyze data to guide reliability decisions.
• Troubleshoot failures and conduct root cause investigations.
• Guide corrective actions and validate effectiveness.
• Escalate top issues with clear, high-level updates.
• Provide input for new designs to ensure reliability.
