Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) seeks a Reliability Engineer IV to lead reliability activities for our autonomous dozer platforms.

You will evaluate mechanical, electrical, software, and system interactions to identify risks, define validation strategies, and ensure corrective actions are supported by data. As a senior member of the Dozer Team, you will independently lead complex reliability workstreams, mentor engineers, and influence design and validation decisions, reporting to engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability, Systems, Industrial, or related field.
• Typical eight or more years of reliability engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex reliability analyses and investigations.
• Strong experience with FMEA, root-cause analysis, and reliability risk assessment.
• Experience developing reliability validation plans for complex electromechanical systems.
• Experience with environmental, durability, or accelerated-life testing.
• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, test results, and system logs.
• Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, Minitab, JMP, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability planning for autonomous dozer systems, subsystems, and components.
• Develop reliability requirements, performance targets, validation criteria, and acceptance thresholds.
• Lead FMEA, PFMEA, DFMEA and system-level FMEA activities.
• Perform or support Fault Tree Analysis and reliability data reviews.
• Identify reliability risks across mechanical, electrical, software, and vehicle-control systems.
• Develop reliability test strategies for autonomous dozers in construction and earthmoving.
• Coordinate environmental, durability, and accelerated-life validation testing.
• Lead complex failure investigations using root-cause analysis and data review.
• Collaborate with design, software, electrical, and test teams on corrective actions.
• Mentor engineers and communicate technical results to stakeholders.
