Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) seeks an Electrical Engineer III to design and validate low-voltage electrical systems for its autonomous vehicle platforms.

You will focus on component selection, wire harness design, and system-level integration to ensure reliable robotic operation. You will lead subsystem electrical integration with mechanical and embedded software teams, support hardware-in-the-loop testing and field validation, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with vendors on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years designing and integrating electrical systems for vehicles or robotics.
• Experience with low-voltage vehicle electrical systems (<60V).
• Experience designing and documenting wire harness systems.
• Proficiency with electrical design and integration tools such as Zuken or similar.
• Experience using hardware diagnostic tools including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and CAN tools.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and basic firmware concepts; version control with Git.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, select, and integrate low-voltage electrical components.
• Develop wire harness designs using Zuken.
• Lead electrical integration for subsystems across autonomous vehicle platforms.
• Perform diagnostics with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and CAN tools.
• Collaborate with embedded software and mechanical teams for system integration.
• Validate using hardware-in-the-loop and support vehicle field testing.
• Procure electrical components with vendors and purchasing teams.
• Document designs, validation results, and integration procedures using Git or EPDM.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Contribute to engineering reviews ensuring safety and compliance.
