Job summary

IMP Aerospace & Defence is seeking a Reliability Engineer to provide a full spectrum of Reliability Engineering and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) solutions for various contracts including commercial and military aerospace, naval and land programs. The role demands leadership in reliability engineering, life cycle cost analyses, and system safety assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Reliability Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years engineering experience with at least 5 years in reliability engineering.
• Reliability experience demonstrated in resume.
• Must be able to take initiative and be a self-directed learner.
• CMRP or CRE considered an asset.
• Failure analysis experience required.
• Experience with RAMS tools (Windchill Quality Solutions / RelEx etc.) an asset.

Responsibilities

• Determine which Reliability Centered Maintenance tools are appropriate and apply tools and best practices.
• Develop and apply improvements and automate Failure Reporting and Corrective Action Systems.
• Develop and update Preventive Maintenance strategies.
• Perform Life Cycle Costs Analyses, Cost Benefit Analyses, Level of Repair Analyses; make recommendations based on availability and long-term cost.
• Conduct System Safety Assessments for fleet modification projects.
• Provide mentorship to junior department members.
• Other duties as assigned.
