RTX is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead maintenance operations onsite at East Hartford. The role focuses on supervising advanced coatings maintenance, implementing preventive programs, and ensuring equipment performance in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, and a proven track record in budgeting and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 7+ years in a supervisory maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and safety standards.
• Experience drafting, blueprints, and schematics is desirable.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise HSMC-South Advanced Coatings maintenance operations.
• Assist with budget creation and track expenses for leadership review.
• Implement inspection and maintenance processes to ensure equipment performance.
• Develop procedures to set and calibrate equipment to production specs.
• Respond to emergencies and minimize disruptions to manufacturing processes.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and compliance with safety policies.
