Job summary

RTX RTRC K in East Hartford is seeking a highly skilled researcher to contribute to chemical engineering and chemistry projects as part of an interdisciplinary team.

You will collaborate with RTX units, academia, and national labs to advance coatings, materials, and sensing technologies, applying ALD/PVD methods and data analytics. A Master’s degree and lab experience are required for this onsite role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical field (Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry) or related area.
• Experience operating safely in a research lab and multi-project prioritization.
• Clear communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (Python, Matlab, R, LabVIEW).

Responsibilities

• Join an interdisciplinary team focused on innovative chemical engineering and chemistry research.
