Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) is seeking a Senior Reliability Coordinator in Carmel, Indiana. This role involves continuous data analysis and mitigation of risks to maintain the reliability of the Bulk Electric System. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or at least 4 years of work experience, alongside a current NERC/RC Certification.
The position offers a salary range of $138,000 – $148,000 USD annually, with eligibility for an annual bonus. MISO provides a robust benefits package, including a 401(k) and time off from day one.
Senior Reliability Coordinator – NERC Certified System Operator (NCSO)
As part of MISO’s Reliability Coordination function, you will help conduct continuous analysis based on changing data and models and make adjustments to mitigate potential risks to MISO and its stakeholders. You will also resolve transmission congestion to maintain the reliable operation of the interconnection on a 24x7 basis and help maintain the integrity of, and the safe, reliable operation of, the Bulk Electric System. You will have the opportunity to provide input on process‑improvement initiatives.
Within one year, success will be measured by your demonstrated situational awareness, discretion, independent judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to act promptly and decisively in response to complex and unplanned situations.
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
Base salary range: $138,000 – $148,000 USD annually. Position is also eligible for an annual bonus when individual performance and company objectives are met. MISO offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k), vacation, sick and safe time, available from day one of employment.
