Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC, AWS Core Networking, seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Network Product Development org. You will own the design and delivery of large, ambiguous systems end to end and mentor other engineers.

As part of the Release Engineering team, you will build and scale CI/CD pipelines, deploy OS versions across device fleets, collect telemetry, and apply statistics and ML models to detect anomalies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own large-scale distributed services on AWS that deploy new operating system versions across devices.
• Build data-intensive software to collect telemetry and apply statistical and ML models to detect OS-induced network anomalies.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and infrastructure services for large-scale system testing.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, test, and deployment without human touch.
• Redesign infrastructure software to create highly scalable, reliable services.
• Use data to measure success and prevent faults from impacting customers.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering to ensure fast software roll-outs and effective troubleshooting.
• Establish software design and development best practices and mentor engineers.
• Maintain expert knowledge of trends in cloud/networking and data/ML-driven systems.
