Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with minimum three years of relay protection and/or control systems engineering experience.
• Experience with microprocessor relay platforms and related configuration software.
• Working knowledge of IEC61850 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop, test, implement, and maintain Protection and Control standards including philosophy documents, guidelines, templates, configuration files, drawings, procedures, and training.
• Research industry best practices to modernize relay protection and controls standards.
• Perform engineering analyses to assess new hardware and software solutions and support deployment of protection system upgrades.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the group and deliver presentations to management and executives as required.
