Qualus Corporation in the United States is seeking a Senior Relay Field Technician in the Field Engineering department to perform testing and routine maintenance of transmission and distribution substation power equipment, relays, pilot channel equipment, controls and communications.

You will read drawings, write procedures, perform calibration and trip testing, troubleshoot, and support field service personnel while adhering to safety practices and maintaining schedules.

Competenze

• Minimum of 5 years of field experience in commissioning, panel and equipment checkout, relay calibration, testing and repairing substation relaying and control schemes
• Experience in substation design/construction/commissioning and SCADA/Fault Data/SER/Integration-Automation

Mansioni

• Reading and interpreting substation drawings and diagrams
• Write procedures and test plans for maintenance/construction activities
• Perform electrical testing including voltage/current verification, metering, and trip testing
• Troubleshoot and repair substation relaying and control equipment
• Plan, schedule and complete test activities on time without service interruptions
