Job summary

Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB) is seeking a Lead Relationship Banker to deliver exceptional service and build lasting customer relationships across the Capital Region. The role combines personalized guidance, banking product knowledge, and branch operations support to help the team meet service and business goals.

The position may require travel to other BSNB branch locations within the Capital Region, and Saturday availability is required as part of branch coverage and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in a sales and/or service-oriented environment required.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• One to three years of experience in a customer-focused setting; banking experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to multitask required.
• Demonstrated customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to utilize computer systems and banking technology efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, payments, account maintenance, and other banking transactions.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services to deepen relationships.
• Support daily operations and customer service initiatives as a branch resource.
• Assist with opening new accounts, renewing CDs, and servicing existing accounts.
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly while delivering exceptional service and support.
• Support branch sales, service, and operational objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security procedures, and internal policies.
