Job summary

Ballston Spa National Bank is seeking a Lead Relationship Banker to deliver exceptional service and build lasting relationships with customers in the Capital Region. You will handle a range of banking transactions, identify needs, and promote suitable products while supporting branch operations.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates will have a minimum of an Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field preferred.
• Experience in a sales and/or service-oriented environment is required.
• Previous cash handling experience is required.
• One to three years of experience in a customer-focused setting; banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, payments, account maintenance, and other banking transactions.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services to deepen relationships.
• Support daily operations and customer service initiatives as a branch team resource.
• Assist with opening new accounts, renewing certificates of deposit, and servicing existing customer accounts.
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly while providing exceptional service and support.
• Support branch sales, service, and operational objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security procedures, and internal policies.
