Job summary

Marsh Re is seeking individuals with reinsurance contract drafting experience to join our expanding North American Contracts Team. This role can be based in San Francisco, Edina, MN, Philadelphia, New York City or Seattle, with a hybrid setup requiring at least three days in the office.

You will manage the complete lifecycle of reinsurance contracts, build relationships with brokers and clients, and collaborate with the Global Contract Consultant team using Marsh Re’s AI-assisted contract

Qualifications

2+ years of reinsurance experience.
Bachelor’s degree or experience in a relevant field.
Strong communication and negotiation skills (written and verbal), the ability to independently manage and prioritize tasks, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Manage the complete lifecycle of a reinsurance contract for assigned accounts, drafting contract language reflecting negotiations and coordinating final documentation.
Build relationships with reinsurance brokers and clients and answer contract-related inquiries.
Provide reinsurance contract analysis independently or with the Global Contract Consultant team, using Marsh Re’s AI-assisted contract analysis tool.
Mentor and facilitate colleagues through Marsh Re’s Contract Drafter Academy.
Lead or collaborate on projects for the Contracts Team, including training and developing workflow tools.
