Job summary

Aon plc is seeking a Senior Managing Director, Reinsurance Facultative Broker to lead client relationships and develop innovative reinsurance solutions within the Reinsurance Solutions group in the United States. You will drive strategy, manage placement processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize client value and growth.

The role requires a BA/BS, 10+ years in broking/underwriting, strong communication, negotiation, and project leadership skills, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years broking/underwriting experience preferred with focus on insurance or reinsurance.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; able to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develops new client relationships leading to new business opportunities.
• Collaborates with team and internal systems to support existing book of business.
• Maintains relationships with Aon Commercial colleagues to identify needs and develop solutions.
• Monitors and tracks steps within the placement process.
• Identifies client and prospect needs and develops cost-effective solutions.
• Maintains knowledge of Aon resources and matches to client requirements.
• Delivers high client satisfaction by leading the reinsurance placement process.
• Promotes a team approach to internal and external relationships.
• Develops relationships with key markets and understands risk appetite and market multifaceted.
• Assists in developing sales and marketing strategy to cultivate revenue opportunities.
