A prominent financial services company located in Tampa, FL seeks a Reinsurance Accounting Manager. This critical role involves overseeing all reinsurance-related financial activities, ensuring compliance with treaty provisions, and producing detailed financial reports. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within reinsurance or P&C insurance accounting.
• Working knowledge of NAIC Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and reconcile ceded premiums, losses, recoverables, and reinsurance payables within the general ledger.
• Prepare and process reinsurance settlements in accordance with treaty terms.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close, including preparation and review of journal entries.
