Job summary

Banner Health in Ogallala, Nebraska, seeks an Associate Director of Rehabilitation to lead our rehabilitation teams at Ogallala Community Hospital. This salaried, full-time role (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday) requires at least 2 years of leadership in rehab settings and a strong clinical background.

The candidate will oversee clinical operations, staffing, budgeting, and quality outcomes, driving patient-centered care in a busy outpatient and specialty clinic environment with multiple visiting

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Occupational, Physical, Audiology or Speech Language Pathology.
• Current license or certification in respective discipline required.
• BLS certification required.
• Typically 2+ years of leadership in a rehabilitation setting and 3 years in clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction to the rehabilitation department to achieve performance goals and maintain quality patient care.
• Oversees daily department operations, staffing, policies, and procedures to meet current standards of practice.
• Recruits and mentors staff, ensures orientation and training, and conducts performance assessments.
• Facilitates interdisciplinary patient care and ensures clinical competency across staff.
• Investigates patient and physician complaints and monitors patient satisfaction and service quality.
• Develops and manages the annual department budget and monitors financial performance.
• Builds relationships with physicians, hospital peers, and external partners to support department initiatives.
• Manages cost center(s) with accountability for productivity and compliance with regulatory standards.
