Job summary

Mariner Healthcare is seeking a leader for the Rehabilitation Program in Oakland, responsible for overall administration, clinical planning, development, and operations. You will manage staff, ensure quality care, and oversee scheduling and program development.

The role requires supervision of rehab staff, coordination with leadership, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Strong clinical and financial oversight are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current valid state licensure as a PT, OT, or SLP where applicable.
• Three to Five (3-5) years’ previous clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, orient/train and retain rehab staff; coordinate with Regional Rehab Manager on performance.
• Ensure staff provides care in line with established standards and relevant care principles.
• Supervise scheduling of residents for therapy within available hours and resources.
• Develop and evaluate in-house therapy programs, equipment needs and staffing ratios.
• Complete forms and documents per policy and state/federal regulations.
• May perform patient care duties as licensed if required.
• Oversee clinical performance of rehabilitation department.
• Oversee financial performance of rehabilitation department.
