Job summary

VNS Health in New York, NY seeks a reporting specialist to support operational and regulatory reporting across lines of business. You will ensure timeliness and accuracy to meet DOH and CMS standards, coordinating with IT and business partners to align requirements with reporting sources of truth.

You will generate reports, analyze data integrity, and help develop and document reporting methodologies. A Bachelor's in MIS/CS and 4+ years managed care experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in MIS, computer science or a related field required.
• Minimum of four years managed care experience; strong data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis software such as SAS, SQL, Python.

Responsibilities

• Generates operational and regulatory reporting based on set frequencies and requirements.
• Conducts data integrity analysis to ensure reporting is accurate and complete.
• Develops reports and projects, documenting methodology and design; improves data collection and analysis.
• Retrieves and compiles data from reporting systems and works with recipients to meet reporting needs.
• Maintains data accuracy by coordinating with IT on data architecture and upstream corrections.
• Identifies efficiencies in reporting and implements best-practice enhancements.
• Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.
