Job summary

VNS Health seeks an experienced regulatory compliance and affairs leader in New York to oversee Medicaid regulatory programs and filings. You will guide cross‑functional teams, monitor changes in federal and New York state law, and ensure timely CAPs and attestations to support enterprise programs.

The role emphasizes leadership, risk assessment, and training on new regulatory requirements for Compliance and operations, with on‑site work in New York three days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related discipline required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum four years in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, or managed care operations, with leadership experience.
• Ability to interpret complex managed care regulations and communicate requirements clearly.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency in MS Office and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of New York State Medicaid regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory affairs projects and liaise with business areas for compliant changes.
• Provide guidance on compliance risks and ensure operational readiness.
• Oversee regulatory filings, CAPs, attestations, and reporting obligations.
• Review and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Prepare updates for management, Board, and Compliance Committee.
• Monitor federal and NY state statutes affecting Medicaid programs.
• Develop tracking for audits, CAPs, attestations, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate across departments to support Medicaid regulatory needs.
