Job summary

ENSTAR is seeking a Senior Regulatory Financial Analyst in Anchorage to join the Rates and Regulatory team, reporting to the Supervisor of Rates and Regulatory. The role involves statistical, financial, and economic analyses to support planning and pricing, plus developing models for regulatory filings.

You will contribute to tariff revisions, testimony, and cost-of-service work, while maintaining compliance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree and relevant regulatory/financial experience.
• Experience with regulatory filings and tariffs.
• CPA/CMA preferred.
• Alaska driver's license required.
• Background, credit, drug and driving checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical, financial and economic analysis to support company and department objectives, including planning, rate design development and pricing options.
• Update, maintain, and develop models to support regulatory filings and planning requirements.
• Maintain compliance with Regulatory and State requirements.
• Support preparation of gas sales, gas purchasing, and revenue forecast used for gas cost adjustment.
• Prepare tariff provisions, filings, letters, reports and testimony to the Regulatory Commission of Alaska.
• Provide analysis to determine cost of service, fuel filings and revenue requirements to secure adequate revenues.
• Present expert witness testimony, exhibits, work papers and discovery responses.
• Maintain good relationships with regulatory authorities; assist in training junior analysts.
