Job summary

Florida Public Service Commission in Tallahassee seeks an Economic Supervisor (SES) to oversee the Division of Economics’ docket reviews and staff supervision. The role ensures accurate cost recovery analyses and regulatory work for electric, natural gas, and water utilities.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in economics or public administration and a strong ability to lead teams, plan workloads, and meet tight deadlines. Internal PSC applicants only.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics or public administration is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the review and recommendations of technical issues in the electric and natural gas conservation cost recovery dockets, PGA docket, and territorial agreement/dispute dockets.
• Plan workloads, train section staff, meet deadlines, and edit work products to motivate employees.
